Of course. I'd say one inch then that limits it to pretty much 6'1 guys.

I think the Agent idea would be great, especially given enough people are getting concerned about resigning prices. It'd be nice to be able to discuss contracts a bit and add that into the league.
Main thing though would be to find someone with enough time, because at certain points in the season, like just before free agency and whatnot, the workload will be big enough that if the discussions arent done fast enough the sim would fall behind.
You'd probably also want to eliminate the agent part for the actual free agency period because you'll have way too many GMs to deal with at that period of time.

Something needs to be done for the contracts, I don't think it's makes any sense that Toews and Kane can be signed for 1 500 000! And same time I need to pay for Iginla 7 000 000.
It's no suprice that Pittsburgh will win, they have 2 TOP10 forwards with very low salary! I think that needs to be fixed somehow.
Maybe We should make all contract ending this summer and incule a rule that SB can't be higher than the basic salary. That way we would get equal situation in each team...

You have a point, but it'd be a nightmare for the commish to try and do. Maybe something where people can file for a change to the contract, such as with Iginla, Savard, Spezza, Gomez, Drury, or other players who are still on their massive real life contracts. Only changes to players who are on their real contracts though, so if a GM overpaid, that's their own fault. Then we could just lower the salary cap a few million, because it's a bit high. Even with Drury making 7mil, Hossa around 5.2, and my way overpriced UFA signings (Treille at 5mil, Bezina at 4mil), and a roster of 24 NHL players, I still have almost 6mil in cap space. Next season, once I cut Treille and Bezina down, among others, I'll probably have almost 10mil in cap space.

My top6 makes 28.4M and total is 49.5M. Lupul is one big overpayment due original contracts, but Perry, Getzlaf and Nieds should have those big salaries. My rest team is young and even levelled so salary harmony is fine. Don't punish me if I have had good salary plan in my team Besides, Ill try punish PIT if I have enough lucky to win Western first.

I dont think resetting everyone's contracts would be a good idea... some of us started with our teams' salaries and have worked with them to build our teams so far. Penalizing other teams by resetting contracts wouldnt be very fair I don't think.
Changing some of the rules to allow a more even playing field though would make more sense. Limiting the signing bonuses like we've talked about in the past may be an option again if there's still an issue. The new Agent idea may fix some of the signing issues from here on in, where let's say a guy like Toews can be signed for 1.5 after his entry level expires, well the Agent would be able to take pot/con/overall/performance/league standards into account which would make that contract into more of a superstar contract

Making all contracts down doesn't change anything. Maybe we can reset all real life huge contracts, because those are much bigger than ones made in EHM?
And I think we need to have some rule to get EHM contracts more realistic, I don't see Toews and Kane signing in real life a contract for 1 500 000. (and there are many this kind examples)
