I thought this would be kind of neat to do now that some of us have been around for 2 or 3 drafts now. Just kind of recapping your picks, how they've done, and possible plans for the future.

2010
1st Round: Taylor Hall (1st Overall)
Obviously I couldn't have been more pleased that after having such a disappointing first season, I get Taylor Hall 1st overall. I spent the following season developing him in the AHL even though he was almost a point per game in the NHL already. Next season, played all 82 games with Colorado, finished with 65 points and a Calder nomination.
Right now the guy has 99 Offence and will definately be in the race for the league lead in goals this season.
2nd Round: Jarred Tinordi (31st Overall)
A big D-Man with good potential. I drafted him, waited a year, then signed him, where he spent a season with Lake Erie. My team is deep on D, so I sent him off to Dallas for Matt Gilroy and a 2nd Round Pick. I feel I got a good return there.
Tony Ritter (44th Overall)
Signed him right away after the draft, and he spent 2 season with Lake Erie. He was slower in development than some of my other guys, so he was lower on my importance list. For his final season on an entry level, I brought him up to the big league where he's got 14 points in 23 games (5th in rookie scoring) and is a big part of my checking line.
No 3rd or 4th Round Selections
5th Round: Andrei Stas (121 Overal)
I think this guy had about 28 CON when I drafted him, but had good numbers otherwise. Plan was always to use him as a possible CON boost trade, and thats what I did. Unfortunately for both myself and Minnesota, neither of the guys in that trade boosted . If memory serves me right, the guy I got (Manny Delancey)'s POT decreased significantly the following season, so he's now sitting as UFA garbage lol
I'll probably do the next two drafts later when I have more time, but 2010 was definately a good year for Colorado.
