1. Shea Weber, Nashville Predators 82gp 17g 53a 70pts 58pim 11 Shea Weber's season can be wrapped up in one word; phenominal. The 24 year old posted career highs in assists(53) and points(70). He led all players in hits with 257 and was 4th in defensemen takeaways with 169. A great two way season for Weber as he looks to add his 1st Norris Trophy.

The 40 year old multi-time Norris Winner is looking to another one to his resume. He led all defensemen in points, goals, and assists. He also led defensemen in powerplay and shorthanded points and assists. The ideal offensive defensemen and leader still has one more year after this, too.
3. Tom Gilbert, Edmonton Oilers 82gp 15g 48a 63pts 38pim 7 Tom Gilbert has been one of the most delightful surprises of the 09/10 RHL season. His old career high in points was 45, this season, his assists alone beat that(48). His great twoway play led Edmonton to North West Divison title, after much speculated that they would rebuild this season. He finished 3rd in defenseman scoring, behind Lidstrom and Weber.
