Minnesota to Receive:
Kalle Halvoni (86)
Dallas to Receive:
Peter Mueller (80) Sergei Chubykin (68) Konstantin Pushkarev (70) Pittsburgh 2nd - 2015 Phoenix 3rd - 2015 Minnesota 1st - 2017 Minnesota 2nd - 2018
Mueller was a big part of Minnesota's growth but with Halvoni, it will be a big part to help with a hopeful playoff run.

I can't approve this, here are the reasons:
Halvoni is Dallas' best player and he's only 20 He needs a re-up on his contract, but he is of superstar calibur, and Dallas needs this guy to continue to go upward. RFA, Halvoni would bring a return of 4 1st round picks
As it stands, there isn't really any worthwhile depth here... Mueller replaces Halvoni, Chubykin is a 3rd liner, then you're left with a likely low 1st, and a 2nd rounder 3 seasons from now. This trade downgrades Dallas for the next 2 seasons, for no reason.
It just doesn't make sense
EDIT: (This was in response to the trade like this: Peter Mueller (80) Sergei Chubykin (68) Phoenix 3rd - 2015 Minnesota 1st - 2017 Minnesota 2nd - 2018)

This is better. Immediate depth is what would make more sense in a trade like this, and Dallas gets the depth right now. Mueller/Chubykin/Pushkarev/2015 2nd rounder. I just didn't want to see Dallas make so much growth then fall back again which would add to the standings gap we already have. Thanks for fixing it up guys, and my apologies if I'm misguided at all here.

I know what your Saying Col it's a Bad one to have to trade him and if it wasn't for him wanting 10 Million he wouldn't be but for Dallas that don't have that cash to have one guy making 10 Million a Season

Dallas is on 52mil right now. He wants 10mil, you can probably get him for 6 or 7. Martin Erat is making 4.5 and it expires at the end of the year. Just re-sign Halvoni after the season ends and let Erat walk. No way you should trade Halvoni for anyone without 90s offense or defense.

I've Offer him a 6.5 Million and it's rejected The idea though is that Halvoni is a superstar, he's the best player on Dallas... you could lose your entire 4th line to pay his $20 Mil salary and it wouldnt hurt the team at all. Like I mentioned before, it just doesn't make sense not to. It'd be like the real-life Penguins trading Crosby for depth... its kinda like, why?

I really wish this trade would be accepted or rejected, as the deadline is tomorrow, and if this gets rejected it kinda screws me over for my cap issue, without being able to work anything else out.
